These rules govern OWB Play Local discovery, live drafts, Draft Order Games, and branded city events. They supplement the OWB Terms and Privacy Policy and do not replace a venue waiver, provider rules, emergency services, or legal advice.

Location privacy is default-off
OWB stores only the city, state or region, country, and a coarse metro key you provide. Play Local does not request GPS, a precise neighborhood, a home address, or continuous location. Discovery, event alerts, local promotions, and city visibility to confirmed local leaguemates are four separate controls. Your player city is hidden unless you deliberately enable the applicable control.
Exact venues stay restricted
Public event cards may show a city and a broad venue label, but not a street address. An exact approved venue is released only to a currently registered attendee whose current agreement and event-waiver acknowledgement remain valid. Residential venues are not permitted under the current program.
Code of conduct
Treat every participant, venue employee, provider, and ambassador with respect. Harassment, threats, hate speech, stalking, intimidation, unwanted physical contact, doxxing, cheating, weapons, illegal drugs, dangerous impairment, and retaliation are prohibited. Follow venue rules and ambassador instructions. OWB may remove a participant, cancel an event, suspend Play Local access, or refer an urgent matter to the venue or emergency services.
Every event has its own gate
A general Play Local agreement never substitutes for an event-specific waiver. Before registration, the current waiver document and version must be shown and explicitly acknowledged. Publication also requires documented venue, legal, operations, accessibility, emergency, incident-reporting, cancellation, and qualified-ambassador approvals. Laser tag and paintball additionally require verified insurance that covers the event date and approved provider safety rules.
Adults only for the current rollout
Play Local events currently require participants to be at least 18 years old. A lower age cannot be published unless OWB adopts a separate, reviewed minor-safety policy and updates the publication contract.
Draft Order Games are experiences, not league authority
OWB Trivia Showdown, laser tag, paintball, and other approved games may generate an experience result, but they do not directly rewrite a league draft order. Any draft-order result must be reviewed and entered through the league’s separate canonical workflow. Accessibility alternatives must be offered where required.
Loser’s Oath and Commitment Bond
A Loser’s Oath must be lawful, safe, non-discriminatory, non-sexual, non-degrading, reasonably achievable, and accepted before it is locked. OWB does not automatically charge a fine, collect a cash bond, withdraw funds, or enforce off-platform payment for failure to perform. Any future money-backed Commitment Bond requires separate legal, payment, refund, dispute, age, jurisdiction, and written-consent approval before it can exist.
Incidents, emergencies, and reporting
In an immediate emergency, contact local emergency services first. Report safety, conduct, privacy, accessibility, or venue concerns through OWB Support. Preserve relevant details, but do not post another person’s address or private contact information publicly. Retaliation against a reporter or witness is prohibited.
Consent can be withdrawn
You can turn off each local use independently, disable Play Local participation, or delete your saved locality. Revocation hides discovery, stops future local alerts and promotions, revokes the current Play Local agreement, cancels active event RSVPs, and blocks exact-venue access. Some audit and legal records may be retained as described in the OWB Privacy Policy and Terms.

This page states product and conduct controls; it is not a representation that a particular event, waiver, insurance policy, or activity is legally sufficient in every jurisdiction. OWB staff must obtain and record the required event-specific approvals before publication. If those approvals are missing or expired, the system blocks the event.
